Special Education

The Mesa Vista Consolidated School District serves students with disabilities ranging in ages from 3 to 21. Our district goal is to provide essential support for success while meeting the academic requirements of all students with an Individual Education Plan (IEP). Each student placement is based on their individual needs.  Services for students are determined by the IEP Team based on eligibility criteria.

Parents are highly encouraged to attend the child’s IEP meetings. Students in grades 6 through 12 are also highly encouraged to participate in their own IEP meetings. Parents may contact the Special Education Department at any time at (505) 583-2645.
